DHARMA STRASSER |
|
Dharma
Strasser is a native of San Francisco who holds degrees from Beloit College
and the Cranbrook Academy of Art
in Michigan. She has also studied in Italy and Korea.
Her work has been widely exhibited throughout the United States. Most
recently involved in works of a serial and geometric nature,
“Migration” represents a direct response to the natural setting of
this exhibition. The
sensitive manipulation of form and surface establishes a dialogue of
rich subtlety with the handiwork of nature.
There is perhaps a sense of the poignant in the progress these
works have made from the earth, through the artist’s hands to return
to nestle next to their source. |
