Re-Cheng
Tsang holds a degree in Sociology from the University of California
at Berkeley and an MA degree from the Johnson School of International
Studies at the University of Washington.
She has studied and worked in The Netherlands and at the
MacDowell Colony in New Hampshire. There is manifest in Tsang’s work a boldness and deeply resonant honesty in the wedding of her Chinese heritage with the lingua franca of contemporary clay work. Her exquisite sense of touch and manipulation of material in their pristine clarity reflect the rigorous logic that supports the poetry of her voice. |
