Sarah Kotzamani is an artist who began her studies in the land of her origins, Greece.  She holds both an AB degree from the California College of Arts and Crafts and an MA degree from San Jose State University.  She has exhibited her sculpture in both the  United States and Europe.

Kotzamani’s therianthropic figures suggest the richness of many ancient traditions that stretch from dynastic  Egyptian and pre-Classical Greek to Minoan art.  Her images rejuvenate these worlds of ancient spirits and give them a uniquely contemporary voice.
