Scott Parady holds both a BA Degree from the Kansas City Art Institute and an MA Degree from Pennsylvania State University.  He has taught and exhibited throughout the United States and Taiwan.

Wresting his sculptural forms form the earth with the dynamism of a geologic eruption, the  artist has inculcated both a deep understanding of eastern clay traditions and the teachings of Yanagi as manifested in contemporary clay works by such artist as the late Peter Voulkos.  Scott Parady’s work boldly reflects his deepest concern with our planet, its history and our mutual destiny.
